Fall of 2007, Here's 2 Life provided technical assistance to faculty at the Northern Virginia Community College to teach a course in songwriting.  The MusicsEnergy™ Curriculum in the Business and Music Departments. Students may elect to enroll for credit or as part of NOVA’s Workforce and Continuing Education Division. Some high school students may elect to earn college credit while still enrolled in high school through a dual-enrollment program at NOVA.

Winter/Spring of 2007, Here's 2 Life staff conducted a groundbreaking After School Program at the Alexandria City Public Schools. Students at T.C. Williams High School co-produced a 3-CD boxset that received a nod from voting members of the National Academiy of Recording Arts and Sciences for Best R&B Album at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards. Secondary Training Educational Program [STEP] students are also encouraged to participate in this special outreach initiative to Alexandria’s at-risk youth.

Targeted outreach initiatives are in the planning stages to engage youth and young adults that have been identified as high-risks for gang activity and/or gang participation.
